As forty days have passed since the recent tragic events that brought sorrow to the hearts of the people of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the O-Sport Association of Iran solemnly commemorates the memory of the victims — the courageous women and men of our great nation — and expresses its deepest respect and condolences.
Amid such circumstances, the remarkable achievements of our nation’s athletes stand as a testament to the resilience, determination, and enduring spirit of the Iranian people.
The O-Sport Association of Iran proudly announces that Ms. Sarina Faghirabadi, Captain of the National Obstacle Sports Team, has earned the Silver Medal at the 2025 UIPM Modern Pentathlon Obstacle World Championships 2025 held at the Beijing Olympic Village. This distinguished accomplishment represents a significant milestone for Iranian obstacle sports on the international stage.
In recognition of this achievement, an official ceremony was held at the Xi’an Hotel to honor Ms. Faghirabadi’s outstanding performance and contribution to the development of obstacle sports under the auspices of the Physical Fitness Federation.
This achievement and the commemorative ceremony symbolize perseverance, faith, and self-confidence among the women and youth of the great Iran and further reinforce the country’s growing presence in international sport.
